Are these colors ok together?
three light three dark?
What do you think of these fabrics?
Its one quilt block that will be part of a 4 block pattern.three darks on one side three lights on the other. the darks will form a “frame” of sorts creating a square around the photos.
the light colors will create a t shape in the center of each 4 blocks.
i dont like two of the colors in this one and they will be replaced with these:

what do you think of the current block, and of the proposed replacements?
All of the different patterns make it too busy and I think it detracts away from the actual picture. Also having the lights on the bottom and darks at the top makes it unbalanced — for the lights you should definitely change to lighter pattern like the yellow hearts and purple dragonflies, the blacks in the white pattern and the paw prints are too busy — But I get the feeling that’s what you were already thinking anyway
